Muhyiddin blames Anwar for political crisis

Anwar Ibrahim has been told to keep Malaysians out of his personal issue involving the police report of sodomy against him.


Making the request was Umno vice-president Muhyiddin Yassin who said the way the PKR de facto leader was going about handling a personal issue by involving the people of the country was causing public confusion, according to Bernama.

muhyiddin yasin muhyiddin yassin"I have been informed that the people are getting worried that Anwar might repeat what he had done in 1998 (when faced with a similar matter)," he told reporters in Muar today.

Muhyiddin, who is international trade and industry minister, said the happenings related to the Anwar sodomy police report were causing unease in the country at a time when the people were having to put up with an increase in the prices of goods following the rise in the global price of oil.

He said he was informed the western media was portraying Malaysia as a country faced with a political crisis to the extent that there were assumptions the national economy was on "auto pilot".
